When you are looking for a family home on Texel, you prefer not to be too far away from civilisation. With us, you don't have to be. All our accommodation is located within a 3-4 km radius of the centrally located villages of De Koog and Den Burg. You are always close to supermarkets, places of entertainment, fun places of interest and, of course, the beach. Both villages have good public transport connections from the mainland. If you want to take nature walks from your accommodation, that's no problem either. De Koog is half embedded in Texel's National Park De Duinen and there are also several nature reserves around Den Burg.

Texel is an excellent place for relaxed cycling and walking. Near your Texel 8 persons cottage, there is always a route that will take you to the most beautiful spots on the island. Are you familiar with Natuurmonumenten's Vogelboulevard cycle route, for example? A 32 km long route, along the eastern side of Texel that takes you past various bird colonies. To get a feel for the network of footpaths in the western dune area, you can get a map of walking routes at the information desk at Ecomare. This map also shows fun places of interest and the meaning of the coloured walking posts.
